/ Am I required to provide proof of health insurance?

Print Friendly

Students are no longer required to provide proof of health insurance to complete the registration process. If you are currently not covered by a health insurance plan and would like one (ORU highly recommends all students have health insurance coverage), we endorse Academic Health Plan (https://oru.myahpcare.com).  It is available at your own expense or you may choose to find your own insurance plan.

Since insurance is no longer required, having the cost of insurance added to your student account is no longer an option.  You may purchase it after you receive the refund of your excess aid.  Please contact our insurance broker, Kelley Hinkle with Wilcox & McGrath if you have insurance questions.
