Is there a late fee or interest assessed on unpaid balances?

A late registration fee of $175 is charged to returning students who do not pay and complete their registration by the first day of class each semester. Interest is assessed on past due balances at the end of the semester for students who are no longer enrolled.

If my fees are not paid by the Fee Payment due date, will my classes be dropped?

Students, who have not made payment arrangements prior to the first day of class, could be dropped within the first week of the semester.

My classes have been dropped, how can I be reinstated?

In order to be reinstated in classes, the student will need to fill out a petition for re-enrollment and obtain approval from the Student Accounts Office after payment arrangements have been completed. You will then need to obtain professors signatures and then proceed to the Registrar’s Office to be re-enrolled in your classes. The final step after re-enrollment is to ensure that you “COMPLETE” your registration in VISION or by visiting the Student Accounts Office.

Can I find my balance and student account activity online?

To find your balance online, log into your ORU Vision account http://vision.oru.edu by entering your ORU Z and password (On your Initial login it is your 6 digit birth date: MMDDYY. For security, it is strongly recommended that you change this number immediately). Then click on “Payment and Billing Site” and login in again by entering your ORU Z number and password (same as your Vision account).

Your current balance will be indicated and you can also review your student account activity to ensure that all your payments and financial aid has been credited to your account.

When is the balance due on my student account and how is it calculated?

The balance on your student account is due prior to the first day of class each semester. In addition, a billing statement is emailed to you periodically during the semester for any additional charges that you may have been assessed. 

The balance due on your student account is calculated by adding all your charges (Tuition, fees, room and board) minus the financial aid that you have been awarded (Grants, Scholarships and Loans).

Will I receive a billing notice for my tuition and fees?

Yes, you will receive notification at your ORU email account of an electronic bill (eBill) usually available each month. You can access your eBill by logging into ORU Vision and then clicking on “Payment and Billing Site” and then logging into the Student Accounts site using your ORU Z number and Password (same as your Vision account). Then click on “ebills” to view a summary of your account.

How do I submit my third party billing information so that it can be applied to my fees?

Please submit your third party billing request to the Student Accounts Office and we will process it. The billing request or invoice can be emailed to studentaccounts@oru.edu or via fax to 918-495-7187 or mailed to ORU Student Accounts, P.O. Box 700895, Tulsa, OK 74170

What will happen if I do not pay my account balance in full by the end of the semester?

You will not be eligible to enroll and complete registration for the next semester and your academic transcript will not be available.
